Nicotine pouches are legal in Latvia for adults 18 and older, and Pouchland ships them to Riga from Sweden with UPS tracking. We have shipped 10 orders to Latvia, to 7 customers. Those parcels went through the standard EU intra-community process: VAT is included at checkout, and nothing extra is due on arrival.
Local shops in Riga stock a narrow range, mostly VELO and occasionally ZYN in mint or wintergreen. The catalog we ship from Sweden runs wider: Velo bestsellers, Cuba, 77, ACE, and XPCT among others. If you want something beyond the basic mint range, that is the practical difference.
Getting pouches to Riga
Latvia is in our EU Close shipping zone. UPS Access Point delivery is free on orders of €75 or more and takes 1-3 business days. UPS Express costs from €6.99 and arrives in 1-2 business days. Under €75, Access Point is the paid option shown at checkout.
Delivery covers Riga districts including Centrs, Teika, Āgenskalns, Mežaparks, Imanta, and Pļavnieki. You will need to confirm you are 18 or older at checkout, and the courier checks ID on delivery.
Strength Guide
Pouchland groups nicotine pouches by mg per pouch. Use these store-wide collection tiers when comparing strength.
| Strength Category | Nicotine (mg/pouch) | Recommended For | Comparable To |
|---|---|---|---|
| Light | ≤ 4 mg | Beginners / very light smokers | Light cigarettes |
| Medium | 4.1 – 8 mg | Casual / occasional users | Regular cigarettes |
| Strong | 8.1 – 12 mg | Daily / pack-a-day smokers | Full-strength cigarettes |
| Extra Strong | 12.1 – 20 mg | Experienced heavy smokers | High-nicotine snus |
| Extreme | 20.1 mg+ | Experienced users only | Strongest snus on the market |
Use one pouch at a time. If you experience dizziness, nausea, headache, or a racing heartbeat, stop using and switch to a lower strength.
What the law in Latvia actually says
Nicotine pouches fall under the EU Tobacco Products Directive framework, which sets rules on labeling, child-resistant packaging, and age verification. Latvia applies those rules to retail sales, including online orders delivered into the country. The European Commission's tobacco policy page is the reference point for the directive itself.
Because pouches produce no smoke or vapor, they are not covered by Latvia's indoor smoking bans. Individual venues can still set their own rules.
What to order from Riga
The new arrivals page is the fastest way to see what has come in recently. For mint-heavy orders, XQS Mint Collection and Velo Flavour Fusion cover a lot of ground. If you want fruit or berry profiles, Berry Nicotine Pouches and Fruit Nicotine Pouches are the starting points.
We do not have enough order data from Latvia to say which single product Riga buyers reorder most. The brands above are available, EU-compliant, and ship from the same Swedish warehouse as every other order.
