Velo Shift is an 8mg triangular nicotine pouch made by Velo with Snusbolaget, Sweden's largest nicotine retailer. A nicotine pouch is a small, tobacco-free pouch you place under your upper lip. Launched in 2026 only in Sweden, these pouches have a three-corner shape. The triangle sits firmly under your lip. Extra moisture means nicotine absorbs faster.
Key Takeaways
- Velo Shift contains 8mg of nicotine per pouch. This is the top of the Medium range (4.1–8mg).
- The triangular shape and metallic can differ from regular Velo products.
- You can only buy it in Sweden. Pouchland ships it worldwide.
- VELO Shift Hot Dragonfruit is the main flavor at Pouchland.
- It uses synthetic nicotine. No tobacco.
What Is Velo Shift?
Velo is a tobacco-free nicotine pouch brand made by BAT (British American Tobacco). The Shift line is a premium range with triangular pouches instead of rectangular ones. Each can holds 20 pouches. They are for experienced users who want strong nicotine.
Snusbolaget makes these with Swedish snus standards. Snus is a moist tobacco product from Sweden placed under the upper lip. For safety facts, read our guide on nicotine pouch safety.
Velo Shift vs Regular Velo
These lines differ in shape, strength, and speed:
| Feature | Velo Shift | Regular Velo |
|---|---|---|
| Nicotine per pouch | 8mg | 0mg to 17mg |
| Pouch shape | Triangular (3 corners) | Standard rectangle |
| Moisture | High (fast release) | Medium (steady release) |
| Can style | Metallic finish | Standard plastic |
| Best for | Experienced users | All users |
| Where sold | Sweden + select online | Global |
The triangle touches more gum area. This absorbs nicotine faster than standard shapes.
