The strongest pouches we sell are in our Extreme collection, which on our scale means 25 mg of nicotine per pouch or more. Nothing stronger exists in our range. If you came here looking for the strongest snus, note that snus is a moist tobacco product. Everything on this page is a tobacco-free nicotine pouch.
This product contains nicotine. Nicotine is an addictive substance.
75mg and 100mg: check the unit first
Strength gets printed two ways: mg per gram of pouch material, or mg per pouch. The same can can show two very different numbers depending on which one the maker uses. So a 75mg or 100mg figure tells you little until you know whether it's per gram or per pouch.
Every mg figure we use is per pouch. You can compare products side by side without converting anything, and each product page lists the per-pouch mg and the format.
Strength Guide
Pouchland groups nicotine pouches by mg per pouch. Use these store-wide collection tiers when comparing strength.
| Strength Category | Nicotine (mg/pouch) | Recommended For | Comparable To |
|---|---|---|---|
| Light | ≤ 4 mg | Beginners / very light smokers | Light cigarettes |
| Medium | 4.1 – 8 mg | Casual / occasional users | Regular cigarettes |
| Strong | 8.1 – 12 mg | Daily / pack-a-day smokers | Full-strength cigarettes |
| Extra Strong | 12.1 – 20 mg | Experienced heavy smokers | High-nicotine snus |
| Extreme | 20.1 mg+ | Experienced users only | Strongest snus on the market |
Use one pouch at a time. If you experience dizziness, nausea, headache, or a racing heartbeat, stop using and switch to a lower strength.
Brands people ask for at the top end
Siberia, Killa, Iceberg and Pablo are the names that come up most when someone wants the hardest-hitting can. Each brand also makes milder products, so the brand name alone doesn't tell you the strength. Check the per-pouch mg on the product you're actually buying.
Mint dominates at this end. Strong cooling is the usual pairing with high nicotine.
Format changes how it hits
We sort every pouch as Dry, Semi-moist or Moist. Moist pouches release faster, so you feel them sooner. Dry ones release more slowly. Two pouches with the same mg can feel quite different in the first few minutes because of this, so compare format as well as mg when you're picking an Extreme can.
Moving up from Extra Strong
Don't start here. If you're not already comfortable with Extra Strong (15 to under 25 mg), stay there for a while. Jumping straight from a Medium or Strong can into an Extreme one is how people end up with a pouch they have to spit out after a minute.
Expect a sharp burn or tingle under the lip when you first put an Extreme pouch in. That's normal at this strength.
If it's too much
Take the pouch out. Dizziness, nausea, a headache or a racing heartbeat all mean the strength is too high for you, so drop back a tier. Use one pouch at a time, don't stack it with other nicotine, and keep cans away from children and pets.
Short answers
Is a 100mg pouch the strongest you can buy?
Only if you read the label right. A 100mg figure is a per-gram number unless the can says otherwise, and a per-gram figure isn't the same as what's in one pouch. Use the per-pouch mg to compare.
What's inside a high-strength pouch?
Plant fibre for the body of the pouch, nicotine, pH adjusters, flavourings and sweeteners. No tobacco leaf.
Can I switch between strengths during the day?
Yes. Plenty of people keep an Extreme can for certain moments and something from Extra Strong for the rest of the day. If you feel any of the symptoms above, the stronger can is the one to put away.
